Trois verbes très utiles
These three irregular verbs are followed by an infinitive. They express ability (pouvoir), desire (vouloir) and obligation (devoir).

💡💡 il faut + infinitive and « je voudrais »
il faut + infinitive expresses a general obligation (no specific subject): Il faut manger pour vivre. For a polite request, use je voudrais (more polite than « je veux »): Je voudrais un café, s’il vous plaît.
Il faut travailler.
Il faut être à l’heure.
Je voudrais réserver une table.
